The Music Glimpse from Podlog is the first in a series of cultural events presented by Hiša Podlog / Cultural residency Podlog pod Bohorjem, where we aim to enrich the cultural offering of the region and invite audiences to the inspiring landscape of Kozjansko.

The inaugural edition of the Music Glimpse from Podlog, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of death of composer Josip Ipavec, who was born in municipality of Šentjur and has greately shaped the musical landscape of the region. The theme for the first concert was inspired by Ipavec’s work  »Wild flower and lvy« and it will be presented by the internationally renowned soprano Mojca Bitenc and pianist and conductor Simon Dvoršak.
